GREASE AT THE METROPOLIS

Experience Grease live at the Metropolis Performing Arts Centre in Arlington Heights! Step back to the fabulous ’50s with Danny, Sandy, and the Pink Ladies in Metropolis’ first-ever Main Stage production. Sing along to favorites like “You’re the One That I Want,” “We Go Together,” and “Hopelessly Devoted to You.” Enjoy lunch before the show at Peggy Kinnane’s, an authentic Irish pub just steps from the Metropolis Theater. Fee includes lunch, show ticket, and coach bus with restroom.

EAST TROY RAILWAY EXPERIENCE WITH LUNCH

All aboard for a beautiful train ride and a delicious lunch! We will begin our trip at East Troy, Wisconsin Depot where you can visit their museum and gift shop before boarding the train. A delicious lunch will be served on board as we enjoy the beautiful views. Lunch includes a house salad, roasted beef tips, smashed potatoes, dinner rolls and butter. Dessert will be chocolate cake. Safe driving is a challenge for all drivers, but risks to safe driving arise with aging that affect vision, hearing, reaction time and judgment/cognition. Come join us at Pinstripes in Oak Brook on the 1st and 3rd Mondays of the month for great fun! Pioneers meet for bocce and great food and socialization with other Pioneers at Pinstripes. Cost is $12 payable at the door in Pinstripes and includes lunch and bocce, coffee or tea (gratuity is extra).

The Oak Brook Park District is hosting a winter coat collection at the Family Recreation Center and Tennis Center this fall! The Park District will accept new and gently used winter coats and jackets to benefit World Relief Chicagoland through October 31.
