T.E.A.M. Rec

T.E.A.M. Rec gives Oak Brook teens a real voice in their community! This is the Oak Brook Park District’s Teen Advisory Committee, where participants collaborate directly with Park District staff to help shape programs, events, and facilities that truly reflect teen interests and needs. Throughout the program, teens will participate in 2–3 guided meetings with staff to brainstorm ideas, share feedback, and develop recommendations. Members will also receive hands-on access to Park District facilities, allowing them to explore, evaluate, and provide informed input on how spaces can better serve teens. T.E.A.M. Rec empowers teens to make meaningful contributions while building leadership, communication, and teamwork skills. This program is also a great opportunity to get volunteer hours in the community!
