Membership Terms & Policies

Types:

Oak Brook Park District memberships are classified into specific "Types" based on agency boundaries. Proof of address to receive In-District rates is required when signing up for new memberships.  The Oak Brook Park District reserves the right to conduct verification audits as needed.

In-District Memberships: Individuals residing within Village of Oak Brook boundaries. Valid ID required.
Corporate Memberships: Individuals working within Village of Oak Brook boundaries receive In-District rates on all memberships and programs. A letter on corporate letterhead verifying current employment required.
Memberships: Individuals residing outside of Village of Oak Brook boundaries.

 

Terms:

Individual: 18 years or older
Individual Plus One: 2 members of the same household, with one member being 18 years of age or older
Family: 3 or more in household. Parents plus one or more dependent children 17 years or younger- or 21 years or younger with valid student ID
60+: 60 years or older-valid proof of age required
60+ Plus One: 2 members of the same household- both members must be 60+, valid proof of age required
Junior: 17 years or younger or 21 years or younger with valid student ID

 

Policies:

Membership terms: Members have the opportunity to either pay on a monthly or on an annual basis (Central Park Campus and Family Recreation Center Membership Types only). Members can pay for their membership for the year in full, or fill out an EFT form at the Family Recreation Center or Tennis Center to pay monthly by automatic credit card withdrawals. All new memberships require a one-time non-refundable enrollment fee.

Paid in full members will have a 30 day grace period from their expiration date to renew their membership. After 30 days you may be required to purchase a new membership package, including an enrollment fee. Monthly pay members will have a 30 day grace period to update an invalid credit card. After 30 days you will be required to purchase a new membership package, including an enrollment fee. 

Cancelations: You may cancel your membership by providing a 30-day termination notification to membership@obparks.org  -  Please include the specific date of the cancelation within a written request. 

On Hold: Monthly pay members must notify the Oak Brook Park District prior to their bill date. There will be no refunds issued for late notice for “on hold” requests. To complete membership processes remotely, please contact Ryan Husch at rhusch@obparks.org.
