Welcome to Oak Brook Park District’s Swim Central!
Swim Central is the perfect place to exercise, relax, and play! The best part - there's never a rainy day! Swim Central is open year-round and, in all weather, so there's no end to summer-style fun. The facility offers ample space for a wide variety of adult exercise classes, Fluid Running, youth swim lessons, and Stars Swim Team. Swim Central includes a relaxing 10-person whirlpool, excellent way to end your workout.
Open Swim Hours:
Monday - Friday: 12:00-4:00pm and 7:30pm-9:00pm
Saturday & Sunday: 12:00pm-6:00pm
Guests are welcome to enjoy the Family Recreation Center and Swim Central for a daily fee.

Age & Supervision Policies
- Children 2 years of age or under: Free
- The minimum age requirement for using open-use facilities is 14 years and older.

Children aged 13 and under must be accompanied and supervised by someone 16 years or older.
Our Facilities
Lap Pool
- Lanes: 5 lanes, 25-yards - Lane 6 open to Water Aerobics or Non-Lap Exercise
- Depth: 4 feet to 7 feet
- Water Temperature: 79-81 degrees (Fahrenheit)
- Features: ADA accessibility lift, timing clocks on both ends
- Limited lap lanes available during scheduled programming. Please check our weekly facility schedule for lap lane availability.
Leisure Pool
- Entry: Zero-depth entry for easy accessibility
- Water Temperature: 84-86 degrees (Fahrenheit)
- Features: Exercise lane, vortex pool, interactive water structure
- Waterslide: Available Friday evenings and Saturday/Sunday after 12pm.
- Guests must be at least 42 inches tall and able to pass a swim test.
- Guests 48 inches and taller do not require a swim test.
Whirlpool -
- Capacity: 10-person maximum
- Depth: 3 feet
- Water Temperature: 100-102 degrees (Fahrenheit)
- Features: Multiple underwater jets, underwater lighting, ADA accessible transition wall
Keep Our Swimmers Safe
