The Oak Brook Park District is in search of a local artist to paint a mural at their Family Recreation Center.
The mural would feature the letters “OBPD,” and the letters would be filled with images that symbolize much of the Oak Brook Park District offerings. These offerings include but are not limited to the sled hill, tennis courts, soccer fields, Winter Lights at Central Park, Pink 5k, and The Sandlot, a Universal Playground.
Executive Director at the Oak Brook Park District, Laure Kosey said, “We would love to connect with a local artist for this project that would add some color and emotion to our walls.”
All necessary material and supplies needed for the project completion will be provided by the Park District. The chosen artist would also receive recognition at a ribbon cutting ceremony.
