Bundle up for the Winter Lights at Central Park!
As the sun sets and darkness descends, Central Park transforms into a magical winter wonderland. Thousands of twinkling lights illuminate the 1/2 mile walk through the beautifully lit Central Park, creating a mesmerizing spectacle. Discover dancing trees, colorful rainbow arches, cascading snowflakes, dazzling twirling icicles, vibrantly colored butterflies, and musical hearts throughout this scenic walk. This walk is FREE to the community and accessible for all.
The Winter Lights at Central Park will occur from November 22, 2024 - January 5, 2025, every evening from 4:30-9:30 PM.
- Photo opportunities throughout the walk.
- FREE to attend, with donations being accepted to benefit the Peoples Resource Center and The Oak Brook Park District Foundation.
- Inclusive and accessible. Anyone can walk or roll through the light show on our paved path.
- The walking path is a one-way, looped circle.
- Restrooms are only available during Cocoa Cabin hours. Cocoa Cabin | Oak Brook Park District (obparks.org)
*Path will be closed at 9:30 PM each night and during inclement weather. (heavy snow, ice, rain or lightning) Any closure will be posted on this page.
*Dogs are allowed on a leash.
