The Oak Brook Park District and Breakaway Basketball are partnering up to offer this Fall basketball league called the Get Better League. The Get Better League is a 3v3 style league where teams of 6-7 players will practice once a week and play a game on Saturday mornings/afternoons throughout an 8 week season. Each player will be assigned to one practice time during the week. If you have a preferred practice day and time please write that into the registration question that asks about carpool requests. All practices and games will be ran by Breakaway Basketball coaches! Please email Kevin Wollnik at kwollnik@obparks.org if you have any questions!
Each year our GBL program has over 1,500 players in it, sign up now and make sure to secure your child's spot! Leagues will fill up quickly!
Games will be played on Saturdays or Sundays!
The league is for incoming kindergarten - 6th grade boys/girls. Register based off your grade entering the 2026-2027 school year.
No games on the weekend of Halloween (10/31 AND 11/1), and Sunday, November 8th.
There will be no practices or games the week of November 23rd.

GBL refund policy:
Get Better League
- A full refund minus the 10% service fee will be issued if the registrant withdraws before teams are assigned.
- The registrant will be issued a 50% refund if the participant withdraws after teams have been assigned.
- No refund will be issued if the participant withdraws after the teams have been assigned and had their first practice.
