| Be your very best! Become a STAR! This team is committed to supporting swimmers at every level. Whether you’re developing the proper mechanics of competitive strokes or looking for advanced stroke refinement and improving endurance, you will experience high level training in an environment that is based on a sportsmanship, responsibility, self-discipline, and self-confidence. |
| To ensure our team members receive the specific training needed to be successful and stay motivated; our experienced coaching staff will evaluate each swimmer’s individual ability and needs before determining group placement. |
| STARS is a competitive recreational team that is open to anyone ages 6-18 able to swim at least two lengths of the pool (50 yards). Swimmers should also be able to swim one length (25 yards) in each of the four competitive strokes. Our goal is to encourage a love of swimming and develop swimmers into the very best competitors they can be. |
| This is an inclusive recreational program that welcomes all team members and encourages growth based on the individuals personal goals and abilities. |
| Our team participates in local competitions in Northern and Western suburbs during the summer and winter seasons. Participation in these meets are optional to the individual swimmer. All fees must be paid in full before the first day of swim team practice. |
| Swimmers that have not registered in advance will not be able to practice until registration fees have been paid. Team fees do not include a Swim Central membership. |
| Swimmers are responsible for swimsuits and equipment costs. A discount of $25 may be deducted for each additional sibling from the same family that registers for STARS Swim Team. |
| STARS Swim Team members may only swim during assigned practice times. Teammates that want to swim on their own outside of practice must either purchase a membership or pay the daily admission fee. Please note: Parents are invited to stay during practice, but we kindly request that you watch from the observation deck. USA Swimming, Illinois Swimming, and insurance regulations allow only athletes and coaching sta_ to access the pool deck during practice. Discount for 2 or more participants: $25 |

| Whether you are a competitive swimmer, beginner, or triathlete, there is a lane for you in Masters Swimming! With multiple workouts designed to improve your speed, technique, and overall endurance, our coach instructor will work closely with you to improve all aspects of swimming. No competitive swimming knowledge is necessary for you to participate in this fun, upbeat, team experience. Ages: 18+ yrs |
