Oak Brook, IL – Fitness met feline fun in a heartwarming way as recent Kitten Pilates classes brought the community together to support two local animal shelters, Cat Guardians and St. Sophia’s Forgotten Felines. The unique classes blended beginner Pilates led by fitness instructor, Dangira Budginaite, with the playful presence of adoptable kittens, creating an experience that combined wellness, connection, and meaningful community impact.
Proceeds from the classes directly benefited both organizations, helping provide food, medical care, and shelter for cats in need. The classes also gave the kittens valuable socialization opportunities, helping prepare them for adoption into loving homes.
The strong community response reflects growing interest in experience driven programming that blends wellness, recreation, and social impact. The Oak Brook Park District looks forward to continuing to explore innovative offerings that engage the community in new and meaningful ways.
