Oak Brook, IL —The Oak Brook Park District is proud to recognize Personal Trainer and Group Exercise Instructor, Mari Kadar-Morgan, for 30 years of dedicated service helping the Oak Brook community achieve healthier, stronger, and more active lives.
For three decades, Mari has been a familiar face in Oak Brook's fitness community, inspiring countless individuals through her expertise, encouragement, and passion for wellness. Her commitment to helping people of all ages and abilities reach their personal goals has made a lasting impact on the community.
Reflecting on this milestone, Mari credits the people she has met along the way for making her experience at the Oak Brook Park District so meaningful. “I truly appreciate the amazing sense of community that I’ve found here, and being part-time throughout my journey has allowed me to balance other commitments while continuing to do something I genuinely love," said Mari.
Certified through the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM), the Aerobics & Fitness Association of America (AFAA), and the Ashtanga Yoga Research Institute, Mari brings extensive knowledge and experience to every personal training session and group exercise class. Her approach focuses on injury prevention, core strength, functional movement, and overall wellness. In her personal training sessions, she works with a diverse range of participants, including older adults, children, individuals with physical and developmental challenges, and those looking to improve flexibility and overall fitness.
One lesson has remained a constant throughout Mari’s career: consistency. "I've always told my clients that consistency is key for fitness and health goals," Mari said. While 30 years marks an incredible milestone, Mari notes the journey is far from over and looks forward to continuing her work as part of the Park District community.
