Oak Brook Park District Hosts Food Drive for The Salvation Army

Oak Brook, IL – The Oak Brook Park District is hosting a food drive at the Family Recreation Center to support families in need. Donations of nonperishable food items and essential household goods will be accepted now through the end of April. All contributions will be distributed directly to the Salvation Army to assist individuals and families across the community.

Items most needed include pasta and pasta sauce, mac and cheese, hamburger helper, ramen, canned meats, canned fruits and vegetables, cereal, oatmeal, peanut butter and jelly, white rice, flour, vegetable oil, juice, pet food, and hygiene products. Community members are encouraged to contribute whatever they can to help make a meaningful difference.
