Does your teen need service horus or want an edge on his or her college applciation? Maybe you want your teen to experience what it means to make a positive impact on his or her community? Tic Tac Toe (T3) focues on building character and integrity whil instilling valuable experience and life skills. T3 gives your teen the opportunity to contribute to a wide range off service project designed to positively impact the community. On Tuesday, participatns will complete preop work and research at teh Recreaion Center. Projects are completed off-stie on Thursdays. Projects run from 9am-3pm unless noted. R/NR is $84/$109 per week.

Oak Brook Summer Day Camps

Experience a summer full of fun at the Oak Brook Park District! Our exciting summer day camp program (Pee Wee Playground and Playground) is fun for children of all ages. The Oak Brook Park District also offers a wide variety of summer and sports camps. Don’t forget, there’s never a rain date at the Family Aquatic Center! Our state-of-the-art indoor facility features an outdoor splash pad and sun deck.

Pee Wee Summer Camp and Playground Camp have weekly themes that guide the camper's activities for that week. Playground camp participants will also go on local field trips associated with that week's theme.

PeeWee Playground Camp

This camp provides a well-rounded recreational experience for children 3-5 years old. Activities are based around a central theme, and each week’s activities include social play, arts and crafts, storytelling, music and outdoor activities.
Children are divided into groups based on their age level. The PeeWee Playground Camp also utilizes the park district’s Splash Park on Thursdays or Fridays. Please note: To be eligible to register, participants must be three years old and potty trained by June 9, 2014. Refunds must be requested five business days before attendance to receive a full refund (minus the standard $5 service charge.) If a refund is requested after the five day grace period, a 50% refund will be issued. After a session begins, no refunds are issued. Medical refunds require a doctor’s note. Due to the full summer discount, no refunds or proration will be issued.

Playground Camp

Campers are divided into groups according to grade level and have assigned leaders working with them throughout the course of the program. Activities are based around weekly themes, and each week’s activities include arts and crafts, games and indoor and outdoor athletics. Campers will swim in our Aquatic Center from 1:00pm to 3:00pm on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. Field trips are taken each Thursday. (No regular camp is available on field trip days). Refunds must be requested five business days before attendance to receive a full refund (minus the standard $5 service charge). If a refund is requested after the five day grace period, a 50% refund will be issued. After a session begins no refunds are issued. Medical refunds require a doctor’s note. Due to the full summer discount, no refunds or prorates will be given. Whole summer rates reflect a 10% discount.

Travel Camp

Kids, do you want to take a field trip every day? Parents, we have an extended week of summer camp, and every day is a field trip! This camp is for kids who are not ready for summer to end and would like to spend every day on a field trip. The camp counselors will be the same counselors from our Playground Camp program. Camp drop off will be at 9am and pick up will be at 3pm. Registration can be done for each individual day or for the entire week. Field trip information will be available June 1, 2014.
Ages: 6-11 (entering 1st-6th grade)

 

 

 

Camp Aftercare

Do you need extended care in the summer? Then we have the program for you!
Campers participate in indoor and outdoor activities with the playground camp counselors. Campers enjoy art projects and other activities. Please send your camper with a snack, all campers will be given the opportunity to have snack at 3pm.

Please note this is not a drop in service, campers must be registered for the program 24 business hours before participating in aftercare.
