The Oak Brook Park District welcomes you to our National Award winning tennis facility. Tennis Magazine (largest circulation of any national tennis publication) selected our facility as one of "The top 20 U. S. MUNICIPAL TENNIS FACILITIES" in 1990. The United States Tennis Association also bestowed its "Outstanding Public Tennis Facility" Award on our club. Come in and find out why!

The racquet club features 8 indoor and 8 outdoor tennis courts. We also offer 5 indoor racquet/handball courts. The indoor courts are air conditioned for summer play. Carpeted lounges, spectator viewing area, vending machines, exercise room, saunas, whirlpool, locker rooms and a full pro shop complement the facility. Our friendly, professionally trained and qualified tennis teaching staff along with our management personnel will assist you in any of your tennis needs.

As for a brief history of the facility, it should be noted that the racquet club facility was constructed by the Park District, NOT THROUGH TAXATION, but through the sale of Revenue Bonds. THESE BONDS WERE PAID OFF IN 1994. The user income generated from the membership fees, court rentals, guest fees, as well as other miscellaneous income is used for the operations, maintenance and capital improvement expenses. NO TAX MONIES ARE USED.
