Build a Dream Weekend

The Oak Brook Park District, Breakaway Basketball and Knights Basketball have joined together to host the Build A Dream 3v3 Basketball Tournament. Young athletes will take part in this one-day tournament supporting the Universal Playground. Players will have an opportunity to try wheelchair basketball by WDSRA’s Synergy Adaptive Athletics. On Sat., Oct. 26, Breakaway Basketball is hosting a free clinic with a suggested $20 donation. All proceeds will go to the Oak Brook Park District Foundation to fund the Universal Playground Project.

October 26 - Free Clinic by Breakaway Basketball | 9am-2pm

Young players from 1st-8th grade will join Breakaway Basketball staff for this great clinic. We will work on dribbling, passing, shooting, and other skills to introduce new players to the game or help seasoned players develop their skills. Grades: 1-8.

Suggested donation to participate: $20
9-10am 1st-2nd                    |    10-11:15am 3rd-4th
11:15am-12:30pm 5th-6th   |   12:30-1:45pm 7th-8th

October 27 - 3v3 Basketball Tournament Times vary by team

Have your child get a team together and join our tournament! This friendly competition will promote teamwork, friendship, and love of the game. Tournament is open to boys and girls in grades 3-8.

Grade Divisions:
3-4 Boys; 3-4 Girls 
5-6 Boys; 5-6 Girls 
7-8 Boys; 7-8 Girls 

Team can be between 3-5 players. 3 players play at a time. Players can only play on one team for the tournament. Fee: $100 per team. Registration due by Monday, October 21. Register online!
