Nicole Joneikis, 13, of Westmont broke the STARS Swim Team Record for the 13-14 Girls 100 Free with a blistering new record time of 1:06.78. The record was broken during the home swim meet against Elk Grove on Feb. 2, 2019 at the Oak Brook Park District Family Aquatic Center, 1450 Forest Gate Road.
According to STARS Coaches Devin and Nick, Joneikis has broken multiple records this season, and has had her eye on this record for a while. “She has really worked to hold her streamline longer and focus her energy on swimming with a purpose,” says Devin.
