Did you know Americans purchase nearly 600 million pounds of candy for Halloween? This year, you can put all that candy to good use. Oakbrook Orthodontics and the Oak Brook Park District have partnered for a candy buy back program that benefits your family’s teeth, the troops overseas, and Oak Brook’s Universal Playground Project.

Oak Brook Park District removes low-head dam on Ginger Creek and works to improve water quality on Salt Creek Watershed

If you enjoy walking the paths of Central Park, you may notice that your experience is significantly more serene along the lower section of Ginger Creek. In September, the Oak Brook Park District completed a 2-year, $140,000 project to replace a failed gabion weir with a new rock Cross-Vane water control system.
