Event Information
Help fight breast cancer in stride at the Oak Brook Park District’s second annual 5k run. The 5k will be a chip timed race through our scenic pathways. $5 of every registration will be donated to the fight against breast cancer. Please indicate on your registration form if you are a breast cancer survivor to receive a special gift and recognition at the event. The race starts and ends by the Central Park West facility. This race is a CARA Certified Course.
This year’s event, which is sponsored by Evergreen Bank Group and Adventist Hinsdale Hospital, will benefit Open Arms-Hinsdale Hospital Foundation’s Breast Cancer Outreach Fund. The foundation will utilize the donation it receives from The Pink 5K for their 40-40-40 program in October which will provide 40 free mammograms for 40 women over 40 years of age.
Race Age Brackets: 8-13, 14-17, 18-23, 24-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65+
• Do to the large volume of participants; no more T-shirts are available for this year’s race.
• No dogs are allowed.
• Participants with strollers must start at the rear.
• Free parking at the Oak Brook Park District.

Early Registration, before 4/20 $30 (Cara Members $25)
General Registration Mail-In/Walk-In after 4/20 $35 (Cara Members $30)
Online Convenience fee $1.95 per registrant

Teams
• Register a team of 25 or more by Monday, April 23 and receive personalized team t-shirts at no additional cost!
• If team registration fee is paid in one full payment- receive $50.00 off total payment.
• Individual forms must be completed for each team member.
• All registration forms for the team need to be turned in at the same time.
1st Place Team Prize
• The team with the top 10 overall best times will receive a free 5 hour facility rental at Central Park West for a
company picnic (Value: $500.00)

Packet Pick-Up
Participants may pick up their race packets at the Family Recreation Center, 1450 Forest Gate Road, from 9am-8pm, Wednesday, May 9 through Friday, May 11, 2012.
Race day packet pick up is from 6am-7:45am.
(Sorry, we cannot mail race packets)
Winners/Results
• An overall male and female winner will be awarded.
• 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place male and female winners will be awarded in each age bracket.
