Please contact: Kathy Maher, OBHS President Historical Timeline... updated! Take a look at the new OBHS Interactive Timeline! (Requires Macromedia Flash) Where was your family in 1834? Your answer will be important to the development of an exciting and unique exhibit planned by the Oak Brook Historical Society. Recognizing the diversity of our community, the Oak Brook Historical Society's new exhibit will present a history of local Oak Brook families that begins in 1834 when the first settlers arrived, through the contemporary day of the Twenty First Century. The mission of the Geographic Genealogy Exhibit is "to bring unity and inclusion to the community through presentation of family histories of all residents." Make sure your family's history is part of the exhibit by completing the Geographic Survey. (The Oak Brook Historical Society is also providing assistance to families that need help in researching their family history.) Click here for more information on this exciting exhibit and for a copy of the Geographic Survey. Give a Lasting Gift of History in Honor of the 50th Anniversary of Oak Brook!
