Part time Pioneer Program Coordinator
Pioneers (55 or better)
Qualified applicant must have a BA in recreation or leisure studies, or a related field with at least two years of experience. This position will be responsible for planning, as well as attending trips, luncheons, day events or activities related to the Pioneer Program. This is a part time position working 10 to 19 hours per week. This position will report directly to the Director of Recreation and Facilities.

Part time Swim Instructor (Starting September 2010)
The swim instructor position at the Oak Brook Park District is a part-time position. Swimming lessons are generally Monday through Thursday from 4 until 8pm, Saturdays from 9am until noon, and Sundays from 9am until noon. In addition, some preschool lessons are Monday through Thursday during the mid morning and early afternoon. All applicants must be at least 16 years of age. We are looking for instructors to provide a safe and comforting environment where students can learn swimming, survival, and water safety skills. Instructors must possess knowledge of swimming and teach swimming skills to all ages in an organized and well thought out manner.

Part time Pool Party Host/Hostess (Starting September 2010)
The party host/hostess position at the Oak Brook Park District is a part-time position. Hours vary from week to week, however most hours are in the evening and on weekends. Hours of operation depend on the season. All hosts/hostesses must be sixteen years of age or older. Hosts/hostesses are expected to have good communication skills with both children and adults. Good customer service is also a necessity. The Oak Brook Park District strives to provide a fun, cheerful, and overall great experience for our partygoers and group renters.

Substitute Aerobic Instructor
Part Time position
Qualified applicant must have AFA or compareable certification at time of hire. Previous experience is a plus. Job responsibilities include teaching a variety of aerobics classes on as needed basis. Instructor responsible for coming up with multiple and varying routines for a class size ranging in 10-20 people. Also responsible for enforcing group exercise policies and charting attendance.
