The Preschool Aid is responsible for assiting the Preschool Teacher with the teaching of one or more of the 4 levels of preschool classes (2-year old, 3-year old, 4-year old, and Kinder Plus programs) offered at the Park District.

Under the general supervision of the Recreation Supervisor this individual will be able to assist our head basketball coach in teaching the fundamentals of basketball to K-4th grade boys and girls. Basic skills required include shooting, dribbling, and passing. Position hours are Mondays 4-7PM, Thursdays 5-7PM and Saturdays 8-1PM.

We are looking for good communication skills with both children and adults for the Child Care Room. Great customer service is also a necessity. Other positive personality traits are expected to be shown to all the children during their time in the playroom. The Oak Brook Park District strives to provide a fun, cheerful, and overall great experience to our patrons. The hours are Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday’s from 4-7pm. Saturday’s from 8:30am-12pm.

Front Desk is required to have both customer service and communication skills, able to multi-task, handle cash drawer and needs to have computer knowledge. Part-time positions are available to work afternoons, nights, and weekend mornings starting in January. We are looking for instructors to teach children 9 months to 12 years old. Qualified applicants should be outgoing, fun, responsible, and supportive. Must be at least 16 years old. Part-time positions are available to work evenings and weekends starting in December. The Aquatic Birthday Party Host/Hostess will create a fun and engaging experience for our birthday guests; including their families, children, and adults. He or she is also responsible for ensuring guest safety. No experience is necessary. The Park District Custodian is responsible for the janitorial maintenance of the any of the Park District facilities.

Qualified applicant must have AFA or comparable certification at time of hire. Previous experience is a plus. Job responsibilities include teaching a variety of aerobics classes on as needed basis. Instructor responsible for coming up with multiple and varying routines for a class size ranging in 10-20 people. Also responsible for enforcing group exercise policies and charting attendance.
