The Family Aquatic Center offers many special
feature for the entire family, including a leisure
pool with a 105 foot long spiral water slide,
gradual beach-like entry with a maximum depth
of four feet, water play features and a rapid
water channel. A program area offers ample space
for a wide variety of senior exercise classes,
tot programs and youth swim lessons. A lap pool
features six, 25-yard lanes to accommodate lap
swimming, aquatic exercise, swim lessons, water
leagues, Stars swim team and masters swim team.
Relaxing in the 16-person whirlpool is the perfect
place to end your workout. The Family Aquatic
Center is the perfect place to exercise, have
fun and make a splash!
The outdoor splash park offers an interactive water play area on hot summer days.
Dive In Movie - Disney's "Bolt"

Watch a movie from the water! Float in the pool on your own inflatable raft while watching a movie on our poolside big screen. Please bring your own rafts. Must show proof of membership at time of registration. Copies of the membership cards will do fine, otherwise regular rate will be charged.
Underwater Easter Egg Hunt
April 2nd 10:00-10:15
Join us for an Underwater Easter Egg Hunt at the Family Aquatic Center! Children ages 0 - 12 can participate in this exciting Easter Egg Hunt in the swimming pool. Children will search for eggs filled with prizes and look for prize slips redeemable for larger prizes! Children will be divided into age groups according to the appropriate swimming areas. Everyone should plan to arrive at the Family recreation Center 15 minutes early in order to get into appropriate age groups. After the event, parents and children are invited to stay and swim and take pictures with the Easter Bunny until 11:45am. Please arrive at the Family Aquatic Center according to child's age group in swimming attire. Parents are encouraged to participate in the pool with younger children.
This event is FREE to members of the Aquatic Center but you must register in person with your membership card.
Indoor Sprint Triathlon Midwest Indoor Sprint Triathlon Series (MIST)
The Oak Brook Park District Indoor Sprint Triathlon is part of the Midwest Indoor Sprint Triathlon Series along with seven other area Park Districts (Bartlett, Schaumburg, Streamwood, Hoffman Estates, Elk Grove, South Barrington and Elmhurst. Contact these Park Districts directly to receive information about entering their events. Those entered in four or more MIST Series events qualify for a chance to win a Keiser M3 Indoor bicycle donated by Direct Fitness Solutions! One Keiser M3 will be give to the overall female and male winners for the entire series. For those interested in more than four events, hour four best scores will determine your ranking. These awards will take place at the last Midwest Indoor Sprint Triathlon Series event.
